Tiny Winter Tea

This is our second annual Winter Tea and I love this tradition. It is absolutely lovely and the girls have the best time. There is something in a girl that wants to dress up and be fancy and proper.

This year the girls wanted to invite thier Hitty dolls so we made girl size things and Hitty size things. We made tiny invitations and asked each girl to bring a tiny friend about 6 inches in hieght.

We made regular size treats for the girls and tiny size treats for their "friends".  Our little friends sat at thier own table and had a just right sized tea set for themselves. Notice in the next picture the marshmallow pops for the girls and the tiny ones for the friends. It was fun to see the different friends the girls brought.

We served hot cocoa in the silver tea set with cream and sugar crystals. The highlight of the party were the edible snowflake sugar crystals. You can see them in the sugar bowl and a few are sprinkled around the table.
After our wonderful noon tea and lunch we made tiny fairy dolls who played in the fairy house and had a grand time while we filled miniature candy boxes with miniature candies. For the candies we used the miniature sugar cookies and marshmallow pops, chocolate chips were kisses, tiny little candy hearts I had found and mini m&m's. The boxes were darling and I did not get a picture. I may have to re-create just to show-n-tell. :)

It was a beautiful tea with beautiful girls and adorable friends!
